Introduction:
NBA TV is basically a television network which basically broadcasts the game of basketball in the United States. Financially, the NBA TV is sponsored by the National Basketball Association. The National Basketball Association uses the NBA TV network for advertising purposes for their pay per view programs. Most of the programs which were shown on the channel such as the tennis channel, the golf channel and the boxing channel in the period of the 1980s were based on the pay per view basis. All the programming that is shown on the network is dedicated by it to the sport that it exhibits. The channel can be viewed for twenty four hours a day in select households that have the direct TV and cable television networks with them. The network was started in the year 1999 and was known as the nba.com tv. It has studios in New Jersey, Secaucus at the National Basketball Association entertainment company. On 28th June in the year 2003, the network entered into a multi million dollar deals with various television-broadcast based firms such as the Cablevision, Cox Communications and the Time Warner companies. This expanded the network to 45 million homes in America and across 30 different nations.

It also showcases the lifestyles of individual basketball players and their lives in the team during their playing days in the National Basketball Association season. It also shows famous games from the past. In addition, the NBA TV also airs shows related to live basketball games on all the seven days a week whenever the games take place.
