Posey Sounds a Positive Ring:

Posey, who has agreed to the terms of the Celtics Saturday as a liberal agent, was seen wearing the national basketball association ring at his prefatory news conference. The lofty goals in front of the group were reminded of by the diamond studded ring. Posey remarked that he was very happy and excited over the opportunity of winning at the highest level. He thought that there was a great opportunity awaiting him. He further stated that he felt the thing in air with all the moves made in the off-season. Such kind of talk would have been ludicrous a few months ago. This was for the fact that the Celtics had put up the second worst achievement in the National Basketball Association. But the championship aspirations of the Celtics did not seem farfetched on account of the trade on the draft day of sharpshooter Ray Allen and the deal of the superstar Kevin Garnett. Posey who has won a title in the year 2006 with the Miami team, knows the way to get there. Posey said that he will not flash the ring around much of the time.

Kings Sign Kevin Martin:

Based on league sources, Kevin Martin, the fourth year shooting guard entered into a contract with the Kings. The contract was worth $55 million. The final date for the finishing of the deal process with the kings was the 31st of October. Thanks to the ensuing discussions which commenced in early August, between their president Geoff Petrie and Jason Levien, who is Martins agent, the deal got worked out earlier.
