Michael Jordan original name Michael Jeffrey Jordan was born on 17th February, 1963 and is an American professional basketball player. At present, he has already retired from the game. Michael Jordan is regarded as one of the finest players the game of basketball had ever witnessed. Michael Jordan was nicknamed as ‘His Airness’ and ‘Air Jordan’.  Jordan was enormously promoted by the various media channels as the best athlete of his time. He was also very instrumental in making NBA (National Basketball Association) a renowned name throughout the world during 1980’s & the 90’s.

Autobiography:

In the year 1984, subsequent to an outstanding career at University of North Carolina, Michael Jordan decided to join the NBA team of Chicago Bulls. Soon, he was recognized as a star and center of the team, making place in the hearts of crowds and fans by displaying magnificent scoring. The ability of leaping of Jordan was evident with his performance that was witnessed during the Slam Dunk contest. He got the stature as a finest defensive player ever to be seen in the history of basketball. Michael Jordan won his ever first NBA championship in the year 1991. He consecutively won the NBA championship for the following 2 years and hence secured a three peat.  All of a sudden, Michael Jordan withdrew himself from the NBA event which was held in the October, 1993 and went on to make the sport of baseball as his career. However, Jordan rejoined bulls during the year 1995 and played more 3 championships in the year 1996, 97 and 98. Subsequently, Michael Jordan declared his retirement from professional basketball in the year 1999 and then again made his return by playing a couple of seasons for the NBA.
