EDDY CURRY
Introduction:
Eddy Curry was born on the 5th of December in the year 1982 in Illinois, Calumet City. He is a professional player of basketball in the National Basketball Association. Currently, he plays for the New York Knicks team. Eddy Curry studied at the Thornwood High School situated in South Holland in Illinois. As a senior, Eddy was regarded as the best basketball player in the high schools division. Eddy Curry was responsible for his high school team reaching the playoffs of the 2001 IHSA. Curry considers his high school, Thornwood High as his Alma mater. Curry signed a letter of intent for playing at the DePaul University, but after that he also declared himself available for the National Basketball Association Draft of 2001. The Chicago Bulls team made Eddy their fourth pick overall. Curry wore the uniform number 2, and along with fellow team mate Chandler who wore the number 3 tried to rebuild the era of Michael Jordan who had the number 23 on his uniform.
Eddy’s Professional Career:
In his first year as a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association, Eddy had a very limited contribution. His game improved in his second year when he scored 58.5% in the field goals and became the first player of the Chicago Bulls team to lead it in the statistics of the league after Michael Jordan. But Curry failed again in the season of 2002-03. In the season of 2004-05 Curry was hospitalized for an irregular heart beat condition before resuming back on 3rd October, 2005. |
